Train the Trainer.
To register for Train the Trainer seminar, please complete all three forms and send via certified mail or ground service.
Note: there are 3 documents that you need to complete... they include Certified
Dementia Practitioner (CDP) form, Instructor Application form, and Train the
Trainer Registration Form

$2,800 for late registration.
$2,500 if registering 60 days prior
to start of class.

The
seminar will include; overheads copies,
handouts, Power Point CD,
Video and 4 textbooks, SAMPLE BROCHURE, SAMPLE SIGN IN SHEETS, SAMPLE EVALUATION, Information on database development, information on obtaining approval for CEU's. CERTIFICATION AS CDP Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certification as NCCDP Certified Alzheimer's Dementia Trainer.
The comprehensive curriculum will
include:

Diagnosis, Prognosis, Treatment,
Statistics,
Screening Tests
Module 2: Communication
Module 3: Feelings and Repetitive
Behaviors
Module 4: Wandering, Paranoa and
Hallucinations
Module 5: Intimacy, Sexuality, Aggressive
Behaviors and Catastrophic Reactions
Module 6: Depression and Alzheimer's
Disease
Module 7: Personal Care: Pain, Nutrition, Bathing,
Dressing, Toileting, Eating, Swallowing
and Sleep
Disturbances. Please note for this
module, information will be provided
in handouts but we will only review
in class the Nutrition piece as the
information is repeated for each
of
these areas.
Module 8: Activities, Activity Dementia
Calendar. Activities Make Them Meaningful.
Module 9: Environment: Changes that
Make a Difference.
Module 10: Staff and Family Relationships
Module 11: Stress and the Caregiver
Module 12: Multicultural Considerations
Module 13 Pastoral Care and Preparing
for End of Life
All applicants will be required to sign an Instructor Agreement and Licensee Agreement. There are two home work assignments that will be brought to the first day of class and the assignments will be explained in your confirmation packet.
