This class is recommended for Trainers who currently work in a First Responder field and provide instruction to First Responders, Law Enforcement, EMT, Fire Fighters, Emergency Preparedness, Search and Rescue, Etc.
The instructor will be provided all the necessary tools to conduct comprehensive Alzheimer's and Dementia Training. The seminar not only covers key aspects of dementia but also elopement, driving concerns, abuse and neglect.
This class is also endorsed by Project Lifesaver.

CFRDT Certified First Responder Dementia Trainer: The Train the Trainer class is recommended for First Responder Trainers for Law Enforcement, EMT, Fire Fighter, Security, and other aspects related to First Responders.
To qualify for this class, the applicant
* Must be directly employed with a First Responder Agency
* Have a 4 year college degree
* 3 years experience in a First Responder Field
* Experience presenting in- services, training's or private seminars.
This seminar includes Power Point disk, over head copies, master hand out notebook, DVD and text books, evaluations, tests and certification upon completion of the class as a CFRDT Certified First Responder Dementia Trainer.

If you are an already approved NCCDP Alzheimer's and Dementia Trainer, and wish to pursue this certification, please go to the instructor only section.

The CFRDT application is to be completed after the First Responder Trainer has completed the NCCDP First Responder Alzheimer's and dementia seminar by an approved NCCDP First Responder Trainer.
Training is conducted in a group setting either for entire city or county wide training. Please contact the NCCDP for rates by using the CONTACT US FORM or 1 877 729 5191. This application is for Law Enforcement, EMT's or Fire Department who work directly for their agency and are responsible for training.
First Responder Trainers may obtain certification to teach Alzheimer's and dementia to Law Enforcement, EMT's and Fire Fighters. To obtain certification as a Certified First Responder Dementia Trainer CFRDT, the student would need to complete the NCCDP First Responder Dementia Course. The 7 hour course includes comprehensive Alzheimer's and dementia curriculum, power point disk, student master hand out notebook,DVD and text book.
Upon completion of the comprehensive Alzheimer's dementia course, the Trainer is Certified for two years as Certified First Responder Dementia TrainerCFRDT and is approved to teach the comprehensive curriculum to other First Responders.
